Delicious Cuisines of Shekhawati
Shekhawati region is in the south of Rajasthan and cuisine here is very traditional. There are some Shekhawati restaurants which serves only the traditional recipes of their region of course daal baati, churma is available all over Rajasthan but some curries and sweets are specially made here.

The yummy dal bati churma flags off the main course. The bati, made of atta, comes glazed with a sheet of ghee. The dal is spicy and tasty with baked balls of wheat bobbing about, and the churma is full of dry fruits, khoya (thickened milk) and sugar. Then comes yet another traditional dish, papad mangodi ki subzi, made of kaccha papad ( thin, crisp disc-shaped food typically based on a seasoned dough usually made from peeled black gram flour (urad flour) and moong dal (lentil). As always, it turns out to be a delightful combination.
Gatte ki sabzi (hard balls made of lentil powder), a very popular dish in Rajasthan, comes next. The non-vegetarian menu has the popular lal maas, hari mirch ka maas, kesar murg, khatta murg among other dishes. The soft shahi part ka parantha, filled with a very thin layer of dry fruits, completes the main course.
